Getting There

Travel by ferry from the City, get on your bike and ride, take the train or travel by car.

The Punt will take cyclists across the river from Port Melbourne (Fishermans Bend) to Spotswood, just behind Scienceworks. Commuter service operates Monday to Friday 6.30am to 9.30pm and 4pm to 7pm. Weekend service operates 10am to 5pm. http://www.westgatepunt.com/

Get out and about and Discover Your Own Backyard today. Drop into the Visitor Information Centre located in Commonwealth Reserve, Nelson Place, Williamstown to speak with local volunteers who can assist you with ideas for things to see and do.

Movies By The Bay: Fantastic Beasts and Where to find them (M)

Enjoy great films under the stars at this popular free family event series. Bring your own picnic or stop at a local restaurant before the screening and enjoy a delicious dinner.

On the Pier Australia Day Eve

Wednesday 25 Janaury 6pm to 9.30pm

Seaworks, 82 Nelson Place, Williamstown

Spend Australia Day Eve at Seaworks with a celebration of tall Ships, film and fireworks in this family friendly event.  Welcome our visiting tall ship JST's Tenacious (UK), along with Melbourne's own tall ship Enterprize (VIC) both berthed alongside the pier at Seaworks waterfront Williamstown.  Food including BBQ and the Pirates Tavern open. BYO seats for more information visit www.hobsonsbay.vic.gov.au. Seaworks will also be open on Australia Day, check Seaworks website for program information.
