Getting There

Travel by ferry from the City, get on your bike and ride, take the train or travel by car.

The Punt will take cyclists across the river from Port Melbourne (Fishermans Bend) to Spotswood, just behind Scienceworks. Commuter service operates Monday to Friday 6.30am to 9.30pm and 4pm to 7pm. Weekend service operates 10am to 5pm. www.westgatepunt.com

The Visitor Information Centre will be closed on Good Friday, 18th April 2014, and will reopen at 9am Saturday 19th April.

Drop into the Visitor Information Centre located in Commonwealth Reserve, Nelson Place, Williamstown to collect a list of participating businesses offering special deals for you to experience and explore Hobsons Bay. Local volunteers can also assist you with ideas for things to see and do.

Free Heritage Walking Tours

Step back in time and unlock the secrets of Williamstown with free guided heritage walking tours. Held every Tuesday at 2.15pm and Fridays at 11.45am. Meet at the Hobsons Bay Visitor Information Centre, Commonwealth Reserve, Nelson Place, Williamstown.

Art in Public Places

1st April to 30th April

See artworks by local western region artists exhibited in businesses and other unexpected places across Hobsons Bay. Get out and about around the city in a month long celebration of all things cultural. Look out for atrs events and temporary public art installations as well.
