Getting There

Travel by ferry from the City, get on your bike and ride, take the train or travel by car.

The Punt will take cyclists across the river from Port Melbourne (Fishermans Bend) to Spotswood, just behind Scienceworks. Commuter service operates Monday to Friday 6.30am to 9.30pm and 4pm to 7pm. Weekend service operates 10am to 5pm. http://www.westgatepunt.com/

Get out and about and Discover Your Own Backyard today. Drop into the Visitor Information Centre located in Commonwealth Reserve, Nelson Place, Williamstown to speak with local volunteers who can assist you with ideas for things to see and do.

Free Heritage Walking Tours

6th September to 29th November (no walk November 1st)

Tenacious tall ship

From 14 August
Tenacious is one of only two tall ships in the world designed to be sailed by a crew with widely varied physical abilities. Every aspect of shipboard life is available to all, from setting the sails, going aloft and helming the ship.  

Open days are Wednesday 17 August, Thursday 1st September, Friday 2nd September

The ‘Silent’ ANZAC

Saturday 12 November, 8pm

The ‘Silent Anzac’ is a premier performance led by the Footscray Yarraville City Band, featuring a moving musical, acting and singing depiction of the little known role of HMAS AE2 submarine in the Gallipoli campaign. A Night of Awe and Wonder
